The price includes
IFMGA mountain guide for 2 days, technical equipment if needed (harness, crampons, ice axe)

Day 1

Meet your guide at our offices in Alagna for equipment check. Transfer by car to the Acqua Bianca parking lot and ascent to the Resegotti bivouac (3624 m). Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2

Start early in the morning to reach the Cresta Signal and reach Punta Gnifetti at 4554 m. Stop at Capanna Margherita before beginning the descent towards Rifugio Città di Mantova. After a short break in the refuge, we will arrive at Punta Indren, where we will take the lifts back to Alagna.

– 5 layers of clothing for the upper body (thermal shirt, light fleece, heavy fleece, down jacket, anorak.)
– two set of gloves (soft and ski ones)
– sunglasses (with 3 or 4 protection)
– heavy trousers (windproof)
– underpants
– gaiters
– rigid, ankle height, waterproof boots.
– two pair of ski socks
– headlamp
– hat that covers your ears
– bag sheet for the hut
– sun screen & lip balm
– poles
– ice axe (if are used to it)
– helmet is recommended but not compulsory
– 1lt water bottle/thermos
– harness & crampons

Please note, a sleeping bag liner is mandatory in all mountain huts.

The price does NOT include: ski lift rides, half board for the guide and clients in the refuge, drinks and any extras at the refuge, lunch on the second day

Difficulty: D, mixed high-altitude ascent with rock passages up to IV°. Requires good physical fitness and the ability to move with crampons on ice and rock.
