If skiing isn’t your thing but you still want to enjoy a day in the snow, join our first steps snowshoeing in Alagna area. Every Saturday, we organize a relatively short and not too demanding tour to get familiar with this alternative way of exploring the mountains in winter.
We will take you to discover the natural park of Alta Valsesia. In about an hour and a half of walking, we will reach Alpe Pile and the Rifugio Pastore. We will follow a gentle loop that will reward you with breathtaking scenery at the foot of the southern wall of Monte Rosa.

Meet the guide at our offices in Alagna at 10:00 AM. Equipment check, distribution, and adjustment of materials. We’ll head towards Alpe Pile, following the ancient Stiga trail along the river until we reach Rifugio Pastore. Lunch break and return to Alagna.
