Day 1
Meet up in the morning with the guide for equipment check, tecnical equipment distribution, and transfer to the Valnontey hamlet in Cogne. Begin the ascent to Rifugio Vittorio Sella (2584 m), which we will reach in about 3 hours. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2
Early morning departure to ascend towards the summit of Gran Serra (3552 m), a short technical descent into the isolated Tymorion valley, and a climb to Colle del Gran Neyron (3400 m). We’ll face the north walls of Colle di Montandaynè, Piccolo and Gran Paradiso. Close the day with a descent that will take us to Rifugio Chabod (2750 m). Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3
The third day will be the most challenging of our tour. We’ll start with the crossing of the Laveciau glacier and reach the summit of Gran Paradiso along the ridge called Schiena d’asino. The 360° view from the top will provide great emotions before starting the descent to reach the historic Rifugio Vittorio Emanuele II (2730 m). Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4
The wildest traverse. We enter Piedmontese territory crossing the Colle del Gran Paradiso (3345 m). We will then descend into the lesser-known Vallone di Noaschetta until we reach the Ivrea bivouac (2745 m). Continue ascending to the Colle dei Becchi (2990 m) concluding the day with the descent into the Piantonetto valley to reach Rifugio Pontese (2200 m). Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5
Final stage. Another 1100 m of elevation awaits us between the walls of Becco di Valsoera and Gran San Pietro. We will ascend to Colle del Teleccio (3304 m) and then enjoy the descent into Valleille until we reach the village of Lillaz. With a car transfer, we will reach the starting point in Valnontey in about 15 minutes.
